Socially responsible brand

For years, Tarczyński S.A. has taken numerous prosocial and pro-ecological activities, knowing exactly how important sustainable development and responsibility for the environment in which we live is. Now, these activities have been put together in a comprehensive and integrated corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, closely related to the brand motto –Eat better, live better”, as well as the mission of Tarczyński, which is to inspire people to eat wisely in order to change their lives for the better. 

We are an ambitious, dynamic and innovative company with a global reach, as well as a widely recognized, modern and responsible Polish brand. We want to have a real share in changing our world for the better, which is why the adopted CSR strategy is of so much importance to us. We are truly committed to sustainable development, promoting healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle, and we deeply care about supporting local communities. The region of the Barycz Valley is particularly meaningful to us. 4 areas of CSR together, responsibly, wisely, actively

The adopted strategy focuses on four key areas of corporate social responsibility within which specific actions are implemented: 

  1. Eat better, live better – TOGETHER
  2. Eat better, live better – RESPONSIBLY
  3. Eat better, live better – WISELY
  4. Eat better, live better – ACTIVELY

The core idea of the TOGETHER area is to support local communities as well as the development and promotion of the Barycz Valley region, which is home to our company. These ideas are implemented, among others, through creating new jobs, co-financing investments in the development of the infrastructure of roads and bicycle paths, supporting the tourist promotion of the region, educating children and youth, and finally through participation in local events and numerous charity initiatives. 

The RESPONSIBLY area is focused on the brand’s care and concern about the natural environment and its resources. Main actions in this area include reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, consistent cutback in the consumption of plastic and paper in product packaging or water recycling using our own biological treatment plants. 

The third area – WISELY is all about creating sensible eating habits and providing consumers with a choice by constantly expanding our range of wholesome, high-protein snacks, being a part of a balanced diet. It is also about clean labels and developing the Tarczyński Naturalnie line, which can be distinguished by natural ingredients and a truly simple composition – without the addition of glutamates, phosphates, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors. Finally it is the introduction of the first meatless products with a high protein content – Tarczyński Rośl-Inne (my proposition: Plant-ifferent) kabanos sausages.

Because we know exactly how important physical activity is for living a healthy life, the ACTIVELY area has been adopted in the strategy. It mainly deals with supporting and promoting active forms of spending free time and sponsoring numerous sports and recreational events for children, teenagers and adults.
